In todays gym session I focused on my shoulders and triceps so that when I hit the ball I can get as much power out of it as possible. As a defender training my shoulders are really important so that I can clear the ball out of our 25 as fast as possible.
The next gym session i have im probably going to focus on my legs so I can get more power when I drive forward with the ball to challenge players and then find an option to pass to. This is really important so that I can be a danger on the pitch and force the ball to different channels where we can steal the ball.
